Niklas Andersson is a Swedish comedian known for his observational humor and relatable comedy, often focusing on everyday life and social situations. He hails from Gothenburg, Sweden, and has built a reputation for his sharp wit and charismatic stage presence.
Niklas gained prominence in the Swedish comedy scene through his stand-up performances, where he showcases a unique ability to connect with audiences by highlighting the quirks and idiosyncrasies of Swedish culture. His comedy often touches on themes like relationships, family life, and the challenges of modern living, making his material widely relatable to a broad audience.
At Bubbel & Babbel, Andersson covered a wide variety of subjects ranging from the Olympics, to everyday observations, like the childish joy you experience as an adult when the garbage truck finally empties your overfilled bins.
Event Focused on Comedy, Podcasts and Other Fun Stuff
The event Bubbel & Babbel ("Bubble & Babble") took place at Scandinavia's largest amusement park, Liseberg a late summer weekend of 2024. It's a successor of sorts, to last years' Humor i hamnen ("Humour in the Harbour"), in which Niklas Andersson and Ina Lundström also performed.
Apart from standup comedy, this years' Bubbel & Babbel was extended to a two-day event, also featuring an award show for well-renowned Swedish actress and comedian Suzanne Reuter, a concert by pop singer Molly Hammar, as well as a true crime podcast, taking place live on stage.
CrowdSnapper covered the first day, featuring the award show, and standup comedy.

Photographing the Event
I got clearance to shoot the event (cheers, Liseberg!). However, this show took place in front of a sitting audience, so there was no pit for photographers. Instead, I stood on the sideline and shot from there, and I think I got close enough still to get some decent shots. Standing a bit to the side, I knew beforehand that I'd be using the telephoto zoom mostly, so I slapped that on my main body, and only occasioally used the standard zoom for some environment shots.
As far as camera settings, I had my two Sonys in aperture priority at the widest (f/2.8), and set the minimum shutter speed to 1/250s, and auto-ISO.
